Game of Thrones Cast – Where Are They Now? 🐉⚔️
Okay, so remember Game of Thrones? Yeah, that show with dragons, knights, ice zombies, and way too many characters who got their heads chopped off. It ended back in 2019 (don’t even talk about that last season, people are still mad), but the actors? They didn’t just disappear into the Night’s Watch. Nope, they went on to do all sorts of cool stuff. Wanna know where they are now? Let’s go!
Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen 🐉🔥)
Daenerys was like, “I’m gonna free the slaves, ride dragons, and be queen of EVERYTHING.” Then… well, let’s not spoil it. After the show, Emilia Clarke didn’t stop being awesome. She starred in movies like Last Christmas and joined the Marvel world in Secret Invasion! Yup, the Dragon Queen is now fighting aliens. Also, she started a charity to help people with brain injuries because she had two aneurysms during the show (seriously scary, but she’s strong).
Kit Harington (Jon Snow ❄️⚔️)
Ah, Jon Snow. The guy who “knows nothing.” He had the saddest puppy eyes in all of Westeros. After GoT, Kit popped up in Marvel’s Eternals (yup, another superhero gig). He also does stage plays in London because he’s super into theater. And guess what? He’s married to Rose Leslie (Ygritte from the show). Yup, Jon Snow actually got his wildling girl in real life!
Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark 👑)
Sansa started out like, “I wanna be a princess!” and ended up as the Queen in the North. Talk about a glow-up. After the show, Sophie Turner became Jean Grey in the X-Men movies, which is basically like being a redheaded superhero. She also married Joe Jonas (yes, from the Jonas Brothers). They even had kids together before splitting up in 2023. Drama much?
Maisie Williams (Arya Stark 🗡️🌍)
Arya was the ultimate little ninja assassin. She killed the Night King with one stab (MIC DROP). Since the show, Maisie’s been all artsy and stylish. She acted in the series Two Weeks to Live and in The New Mutants. Plus, she’s into fashion—like, she looks straight out of a futuristic comic book. Arya’s still slaying, just in real life.
Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister 🍷📚)
The smartest dude in Westeros, even if he did drink a lot of wine. After GoT, Peter Dinklage starred in movies like Cyrano and even lent his voice to animations. He’s one of those actors who can do comedy, drama, and even voice a villain if he wants. Basically, he’s still winning at everything.
Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister 👑🍷)
Cersei was the queen who loved wine almost as much as she loved scheming. After GoT, Lena Headey jumped into movies and TV shows like Gunpowder Milkshake and White House Plumbers. She’s still playing powerful, tough characters (but hopefully less evil than Cersei).
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister 🛡️❤️)
Jaime, the Kingslayer, went from being hated to being… well, kinda loved? After the show, Nikolaj starred in thrillers and dramas like Against the Ice. He’s also super involved in climate change work, trying to save the planet. Honestly, that’s way cooler than saving Cersei.
Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo 💪🔥)
Okay, Drogo wasn’t around long in the show, but Jason Momoa blew up after. He became Aquaman! Like, literally the king of the ocean. He’s also in Dune and other huge movies. Basically, he’s one of the biggest stars now. From horse lord to sea king—that’s an upgrade.
Final Thoughts
So yeah, the Game of Thrones cast didn’t just fade away after Westeros closed its gates. They became superheroes, fashion icons, Marvel stars, and real-life leaders. Some got married, some had babies, and some are still acting like total bosses.
Even though fans are salty about the ending (seriously, don’t mention Season 8 at dinner), one thing’s for sure: the cast is still ruling the world, just without dragons and swords this time.
